Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Awareness Session at Zahira College, Kalmunai
On 13th July 2018, we conducted a comprehensive Cybersecurity Awareness Program for over 30 students and teachers at Zahira College, Kalmunai. The session highlighted how hackers target mobile devices, demonstrated common ethical hacking techniques, and shared practical strategies to secure personal data.
A dedicated segment on phishing helped participants identify fake emails, malicious links, and social engineering tactics used to steal sensitive information. We also introduced awareness about the Dark Web, explaining its structure, associated risks, and how it can be misused for illegal activities.
The interactive session created a strong impact, equipping students and teachers with essential knowledge to recognize cyber threats and maintain safe, responsible online behavior.
