Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Awareness Program at KM-KM-AL-Manar Central College, Maruthamunai
On 4th July 2018, we conducted a Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking Awareness Program for over 40 students and teachers at Manar Central College, Maruthamunai. The session focused on educating participants about how hackers target mobile devices, common hacking techniques, and practical ways to protect personal data.
We also included a dedicated segment on phishing attacks, teaching participants to identify fake emails, malicious links, and social engineering attempts. Additionally, awareness about the Dark Web was introduced, explaining its structure, potential risks, and how it can be misused for illegal activities.
The program was interactive and impactful, equipping students and teachers with essential knowledge to recognize cyber threats and practice safe, responsible online behavior.
